The Consulate General’s offices are located in the Nakanoshima area, the beating heart of Osaka’s and Kansai’s economy, in close proximity to such hubs of city life as the bustling Umeda district, Osaka City Hall, and the Osaka headquarters of the Bank of Japan.
The headquarters is located in the Nakanoshima Festival Tower, a newly constructed building, inside which are several important institutions, including the Italian Cultural Institute in Osaka, numerous companies, and the editorial office of the Asahi Shimbun, one of Japan’s largest newspapers.
Also inside the Festival Tower is the Nakanoshima Festival Hall, famous throughout Japan for the important concerts, performances, and events held there.
